Vedic Parser Skill

This skill focuses on the high-fidelity extraction of data from JHora ASCII art.

1. South Indian ASCII Chart Mapping

3. Mandatory Technical Consistency

• Verification: Always cross-reference the longitudeTable text against the ASCII grid. If a planet's sign in the text table differs from its position in the ASCII grid, the Text Table (Longitude) is the primary source of truth.
• Lagna Anchor: The Ascendant (Lagna) sign ALWAYS defines House 1. Scorpio Lagna = Scorpio is H1, Sagittarius is H2, etc.

4. Functional Rule Engine (Rule 2.1)

When classifying functional roles, follow this strict hierarchy: 1. Auspicious (Yoga Producers): Rulers of Trines (1, 5, 9) or Natural Malefics ruling Kendras (1, 4, 7, 10). 2. Evil (Yoga Breakers): Rulers of Trishadaya houses (3, 6, 11). The 11th Lord is the strongest obstructor—emphasize stress/ego. 3. Killers (Marakas): Rulers of 2nd or 7th houses. 4. Conflict Resolution: A Trine lordship (1, 5, 9) always overrides a Malefic lordship (e.g., Mars for Scorpio is Auspicious because of H1 lordship, despite also ruling H6).

5. Structural Evaluation (Grit vs. Grace - Rule 2.2)

Focus on Natural Qualities regardless of lordship: - Benefics (Grace): Jupiter, Venus, Waxing Moon, Mercury (alone). - Malefics (Grit): Saturn, Mars, Rahu, Ketu, Sun, Waning Moon. - Kendra Vibe: Benefic-heavy = ease/lack of grit. Malefic-heavy = extreme willpower/grit. - Upachaya Logic: Malefics thrive here (grit to grow). Benefics struggle here (laziness/expectation of ease).

6. Natural Zodiac (Aries) Check

In Step 1 (SelfFactors), always cross-verify the individual's House 1 against Aries (the Natural 1st House). - If H1 is afflicted AND Aries is afflicted, the physical vessel is highly vulnerable. - If H1 is strong but Aries is afflicted, the person has a strong ego but may face specific head/health stressors.

7. Node Behavior (Rahu & Ketu)

Nodes have NO independent dignity. - Their behavior is entirely dictated by (1) their Dispositor's dignity and (2) conjunctions. - Do not predict results for Nodes without first checking the quality of the planet ruling the sign they sit in.
