description: "Workflow for cleaning obsolete session cache files (>7 days) and synchronizing core project documentation."
Project & Session Cache Maintenance Workflow (/maintenance-clean)
This workflow enforces the "1-Week Media Rule" and "Infinite Memory Calibration" by auditing global artifact storage, while ensuring that the project's standard documentation remains updated.
🛠️ Execution Steps
1. Cache Storage Audit
- Scan the local session data directories to identify folders and recordings older than 7 days.
- Directories to inspect:
/Users/keira/.gemini/antigravity/brain/
/Users/keira/.gemini/antigravity/conversations/
/Users/keira/.gemini/antigravity/browser_recordings/
/Users/keira/.gemini/antigravity/html_artifacts/
- Present the user with a summary of identified legacy folders.
- Highlight folders containing heavy media files (PNG, WEBP, MP4) that consume substantial space.
3. User Deletion Gate (Mandatory)
- Ask explicitly:
"Would you like me to delete the following legacy folders to save storage? [LIST]"
- NEVER delete any directory or file without explicit confirmation (
YES or specific choice).
- If the user is hesitant, offer to archive them into a
_legacy_ sub-folder instead.
4. Project Documentation Update
- Check if the active project's core documentation (under the 4-Doc Rule) needs updates based on recent commits or changes:
CHANGELOG.md
PROJECT_STATUS.md
README.md
APP_CONTEXT.md
- Automatically prompt to update these documents if any drift is detected.
5. Checkpoint & Logging
- // turbo
Commit the maintenance operations and documentation updates:
bash
git add . && git commit -m "Pulse: Project Maintenance and Session Cache Cleanup"
- Print a summary of freed disk space and the updated repository status.
