OpenAI4S welcomes contributors across research disciplines, institutions, experience levels, identities, and backgrounds. Participation is a privilege conditioned on making the project safe, rigorous, and constructive.
Harassment, threats, stalking, sexualized attention, discriminatory language, doxxing, impersonation, plagiarism, fabrication, coercion, sustained disruption, and publishing another person's private information are not acceptable. Technical disagreement, a rejected change, or a request for evidence is not by itself misconduct when expressed professionally.
This policy applies in repository issues, discussions, pull requests, reviews, commits, project chat, events, and private communications undertaken as a project representative. It also applies when use of the project name or access obtained through the project creates a reasonable connection to the community.
Report conduct concerns privately to minecraftzhanggongbo@outlook.com. Do not put sensitive evidence in a public issue. Include only the information needed to understand the incident; maintainers may request more through a private channel. A maintainer named in or closely connected to a report must recuse themselves.
Maintainers will protect reporter and witness privacy to the extent practical, consider context and patterns of behavior, and prohibit retaliation. Depending on severity and history, responses may include a private correction, formal warning, content removal, temporary participation limits, or a permanent ban. Immediate protective action may precede a full review when safety requires it. Knowingly false or retaliatory reports are themselves violations; an unsubstantiated good-faith report is not.
